About Me
Hello, my name is Kate. I have been pet-sitting since 2017. Animals are my passion. I work in rescue and help Admin a large lost and found pet Facebook group. I am home full-time but do leave occasionally to visit family or to run errands. I make sure all animals have been cared for and are comfortable and safe before leaving.
I offer services for dogs, cats, and other small animals. Please note, that I do not watch pets with separation anxiety. Other than that, I have no preference in breed, gender, age, etc.
About My Home
I have a large fenced-in backyard and a safe neighborhood to walk your dog(s) in.
Since some people have a negative view of mobile homes, I want to be upfront with you. I live in a mobile home just outside the city limits. While it may not be the prettiest home to look at, it is home. It’s my home and I’m blessed to have it. It is a cozy, comfortable, safe place to live and take care of fur babies.
About My Yard
I live on a 1.5+ acre lot. I have a nice shaded fenced-in backyard for your fur babies to safely romp around and play in. Since some of my dogs like to dig, as well as some of my clients' dogs, some of the yard is grass but some of it is dirt. This means that your fur baby will probably get dirty. This is a good indication that your fur baby was actively having a good time in my care. If you need a towel to wipe your fur baby off before your fur baby goes home, please let me know.
Oftentimes the grass outside of the fenced-in backyard may be a little taller than what you are used to. I tend to let it grow, which is actually good for the environment and outdoor critters.
Speaking of outdoor critters, I have pest control come out quarterly to spray around the perimeter of my home and yard. Unfortunately, fleas and ticks sometimes still show up. Having your pet on a flea and tick preventative, even if not booking with me, is a good idea.
